Our Story
Dualspace started the way a lot of good ideas do — out of frustration and a little bit of vision.
In 2019, co-founders Andrew and Elyse Garlock noticed a gap. Andrew was working in marketing and producing regular photo and video shoots. Finding unique, shoot-ready homes was surprisingly difficult. Beautiful spaces existed — they just weren’t organized or accessible for creative work.
So instead of settling for the usual options, we started texting friends and neighbors: Would you ever rent your home for a shoot?
A lot of them said yes.
We made a simple list. That list grew. Word spread. More homeowners joined. More creatives needed spaces. What started organically turned into something bigger than we imagined.
Elyse brought her love of interior design and a sharp eye for detail. She naturally gravitated toward homes with character, great light, and thoughtful design — spaces that feel elevated but real. Together, we began curating not just houses, but locations that truly translate on camera.

Why “Dualspace”?
Because every space can serve two purposes.
It’s someone’s home — where life happens. And it can also be a backdrop for creativity — where brands, stories, and ideas come to life.
Dualspace exists to bridge those two worlds.
We believe in helping homeowners see new potential in their spaces and helping creatives discover locations that feel authentic, layered, and meaningful.
That’s why our slogan is:
Frame the Familiar.
The most compelling visuals don’t always come from elaborate sets. Sometimes they come from everyday spaces — thoughtfully framed and seen in a new way.

Since launching in 2019, Dualspace has continued to grow through relationships, referrals, and community. In 2025, we were honored to be featured in Utah Valley Business Magazine — a milestone that reminded us how far this simple idea has come.
At its core, Dualspace is about beautiful spaces and the people who bring them to life.
We’re so glad you’re here.
